Dear Patti,
Although I haven't seen you folks for a long time, I've always enjoyed hearing about your lives through Russell's Christmas letters and pictures~!
I was so shocked and saddened to hear of his sudden passing, which makes it all the harder to endure, but how wonderful for him~! I know he is united with Marilyn and his parents, being held in the Lord's loving arms~!!! I pray for strength and courage for you and your family~!! The distance makes no difference, you are in my heart~! God bless you~!

We are so sad to hear that Russ has passed. I worked with Russ for about 20 years. He was a good man and always ready to help or listen. He was a great co-worker. I will miss his periodic letters keeping me up to date on your family. Ken and I will keep you and your family in our prayers.

We are so saddened to learn of Russ' passing and can't quite accept this as reality. Jack's friendship with Russ goes back to 1977 when Russ interviewed Jack at UNL for Mutual of Omaha. Both you and Russ have been so good to stay in touch over the years and Russ' calls to check in on Jack have meant so much to him. We will miss Russ' smile and the twinkle in his eyes.
