Sue Chu and I are deeply saddened by Russ's death. He was a true, true friend. I always looked forward to getting together for lunch or dinner when we were back in the Midwest. During my days working with Russ at Mutual of Omaha, regardless of what frustration I might have had that day, Russ and his wit could always make the day bright again. He will truly be missed.

Patti and family, I am so sorry to hear about Russ. He was my boss for many years, but foremost he was my friend. I greatly appreciated him both professionally and as a friend. He was very talented and easily one of the best ever at entertaining his friends with stories, dry wit, and the turn of a phrase. He was a great help to me and I am so sorry to hear.
