Preceded in death by husband, Roy J. Shover; parents, Virgil and Eunice Elder; siblings, Dale Elder, Maureen Hammerly, Jerry Elder, Marion Elder, and Alfred Elder; and granddaughter, Tina Marie Jewett.

Survived by children, Jeannene (Stan) Morse, of Vermont, Sheryl (Randy) Jewett, of Vermont and Michael (Robin) Shover, of Omaha;
grandchildren, Tracey (Jeff) Ash, Kristi Madsen, Randy (Myah) Jewett, all of Vermont;
great-grandchildren: Nicholas Marty, Grayson Madsen, Noah Jewett, Kaleigh Jewett, Olivia Jewett, Logan Jewett, and Wrenley Jewett;
brothers-in-law, Alexander Shover and John Shover;
sister-in law, Gloria Gadnon;
numerous nieces and nephews

Betty was a loving wife and mother who loved to cook and always had time for family and friends. She was a wonderful caretaker of her husband and for 36 years worked as a meat-wrapper / deli manager. She worked in the church nursery and helped with the church flowers and food drives.
She also served as President of the DAV Women's Auxiliary.
