When our parents leave this world, nothing feels the same. We lose the comfort of being their children.
When they are no longer with us, we become orphans, regardless of our age—and that reality is profoundly difficult. Even when we’ve built families of our own, the memory of our parents remains etched into our very being.
Deep inside, no matter how grown we are, there’s still a child within us longing for their protection. We yearn for the sanctuary of their unconditional love, a place we once turned to without hesitation. But when they are gone, that refuge is lost forever.
