Rosemary Yechout, 94

Rosemary passed away peacefully at Josie Harper Hospice House

She was preceded in death by parents Charles and Anna Hickey. Her husband Donald of 62 years, her sister Dorothy Hejl of Fredericksburg, Virginia, son Donald Jr, daughter Debra and granddaughter Jennifer.

Rosemary is survived by children Pat (Fred) Dasovic and Shari (Rod) Oertwich, 10 cherished grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

She was a long-time parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes parish. Involving herself in many parish groups.

Mom was a stay at home mom raising the four children. We always had delicious home cooked meals, fresh made chocolate chip cookies, made from scratch donuts, and dozens of, made with love, Christmas cookies.

We spent many days at Merritt Beach growing up and trips to Minnesota and Wisconsin to fish and play games.

After dad retired they spent 27 years as snowbirds in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Alabama. They spent 4 months every winter on the beach. Coming home the first of April dad was looking at travel magazines for their next adventure. They visited many foreign countries and traveled the United States to see friends and family.

Mom was always ready for a card game, playing dominoes, casino trips, and visits from family and friends.

We were blessed to have mom with us for so many years. Now she’s reunited with dad and all family members and friends. We will hold onto years of memories forever. Till we meet again. Love you dearly.
