Janet M. Taylor died January 26, 2025 in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 99 years. Janet (Jannette) was born on October 12, 1925 in Omaha, Nebraska to John C. and Minnie (Plessel) Tighe. 

Preceded in death by her husband Virgil H.Taylor; parents John C. Tighe and Minnie (Plessel) Tighe; and brothers Edward Tighe and Leslie Tighe. 

Survived by children Harold Taylor, Linda Nielsen, and Patricia Gard; grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Janet’s wishes are inurnment at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park in Omaha, Nebraska with no services. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial donation to the Omaha Dancing Grannies.
