Sara C. McMahon, 87

Beloved mother. Preceded in death by John E. McMahon

Those left to cherish Sara's memories include her children Dennis (Andrea), Ed, Dan (Judy), Mary (Chris) Ravage, Charlie, and Cathy Menke; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren

Sara was born in Omaha, attended St. Bernard Elementary and St. Mary High School. Her and John raised 6 children and she enjoyed volunteering at school and attending sporting events. She was involved with Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts and was always willing to help with homework.

Sara loved crafts and decorated for many scouting and church events. At Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church she ran the festival plant booth. She was a member of the church choir and a local moms choir. After staying at home to raise her children, she started a silk flower business. Later she used her skills to work as a floral designer. Sara loved to crochet and later began poetry writing. Sara loved to tell jokes, laugh, and have fun. She had a great memory and loved to talk about the past.

She will be missed by many.
