Charles E. Antoniak, 78

Charles, “Chuck” or "Charlie" was born in South Omaha in 1945. As a young man, he trained as a Brick Mason and was a member of the Bricklayer’s Union for several years. In 1969, he joined the Omaha Fire Department and honorably retired in 1998, after 29 years. After his retirement, he continued to serve the public by driving the Special Services Bus for the City of Papillion.

Chuck is survived by, his wife Diane, his brother Gene (Christine) and his sister Michelle (Don) Moore, his daughters Dawn (Jeff) Mitchell, and Sandra Antoniak, stepdaughter Laura (Jim Bowser) Mace, his son Charles Antoniak and his partner Amanda Work, his stepson Dennis (Tetana) Mace, and Grandchildren Samuel Mace, Sophia Mace, Isabella Mace, Jacob Work, and his many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Geraldine (Al) Fideline; and brothers Joseph and Michael Antoniak.
