Jon Olaf Ulven, 75

Jon Olaf Ulven of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024.

Jon was born in Ute, Iowa on August 31, 1948 to Verne and Leona (Manitz) Ulven. Jon grew up in Soldier, Iowa and graduated from Soldier High School. Jon was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving overseas during the Vietnam War.

Jon lived most of his adult life in Omaha, Nebraska. He worked for Xerox Corporation as a technician specialist and went on to manage the service department at First Data Resources before getting his real estate license and working at Home Real Estate. He enjoyed golfing and watching sports. His best times were spent with family and friends.

Jon is survived by his daughter Ashley (Jeremy) Sevick and two grandchildren, Brenner and Lotte of Lincoln, Nebraska; two brothers, Lon (Jo) Ulven of Milford, Iowa and Kirk (Danielle) Ulven of Beresford, South Dakota; one sister Joy (Rick) Ehlers of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and brother-in-law Roger Gray of Onawa, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Janet Foss and Carol Gray.
