Gloria Kay Gould, 83

Gloria Kay passed away on Tuesday, May 28th, 2024. She was circled in love by her family and friends.

Kay was born in Atlantic, Iowa in 1940 and lived in the Omaha/Bellevue area since she was a young girl. She graduated from Omaha South High School in 1958 and worked for Mutual of Omaha for 25 years. She met John Gould in 1976 and they spent 47 happy years together. They were married on July 19th, 1986.

Kay loved her family. She also loved sewing and sharing her many creations with her family. She enjoyed watching sports and game shows on television.

She will be deeply missed by many.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Julie (Moffitt) and Edward McCarty; son Rob Moffitt; grandchildren Annastacia McCarty, Sarah McCarty, Shannon McCarty, Matthew Moffitt, and Norma Jean (Moffitt) Miller; great-grandchildren Samantha Moffitt, Raymond Moffitt, Carolyn Miller, and Lori Miller; sister Mary Krejci; sister and brother-in-law Shelia and Ty Riddle; brother and sister-in-law Gary and Pam Leander.

She is preceded in death by her husband John Gould; son Randy Moffitt; mother Ruth (Wickham) Leander; and father Marvin Noble Leander.
