Ava Leanor Lind, 72, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2024. She was circled in love by her family and friends.

Ava was born on December 14, 1951, to Jose and Ignatia Guerrero, in Topeka Kansas. Her family later moved, and she spent the rest of her life in the Omaha area. Her greatest achievement in life was her family. The love she had for her grandchildren was immeasurable! She was such a supportive grandma and could be seen at all the grandkid’s activities. From Football games to Swim meets, Dance recitals to Choir concerts, she was always sitting in the stands or auditorium recording with her video camera. She loved Movies, Musicals, and Music especially Elvis and the Beatles. She loved wind chimes and had a keen eye for all things purple. She had a very generous heart and was always thinking of others. We are all shattered by her sudden loss and will miss her every single day.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Ignatia Guerrero; and her brother, Gabe Guerrero.

She is survived by her sisters, Cecilia “Sissy” Vance, and Diana McCartney; brother Joe “Jimmy” Guerrero; her husband, Carl Lind; four children, Marie (Brett) Bode, Karlee (Marshall) Anderson, Erik (Kaycie) Lind, and Philip Lind; grandchildren Alaria, Bradyn, Braxton, Kaiya, Amelia, and Veronica (Roni); numerous nieces and nephews.
