Larry J. Schab, 87

Preceded in death by the love of his life wife, Joyce Marie; grandson, Philip John Aparo, II (PJ); mother, Helen Schab; father, John Schab.

Survived by daughters, Lynne Aparo (Ben R. ) Omaha, Laurie Jordan (AJ) Scooter, Florida; grandson, Trevor Joseph Aparo (Kristen); great-grandchildren, Kailee Dawn and Philip John Aparo, III, all of Omaha; sisters, Lorraine Ciurej, Colorado, Rose Webster (Dave), California; many nieces and nephews; other family and many friends who all loved him also.

Our Dad was very strong. He didn't let anyone know he was in pain. When he was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma B cell on January 22nd. We were surprised and scared. He fought hard. We kept positive. Then it metastasized on February 11th, he let go. We love and miss him so much.

He called twice a day everyday, but he had a list of names that he called every morning. Friends and family. He made sure we all knew the weather where we lived, according to Al Roker. LOL! Then he'd tell us what it was in Fort Myers.

We will all miss that for sure! LOL! Very caring.
