Ronald R. Rydberg, 65



Ron Rydberg age 65, passed away at Bergan Mercy Hospital on January 13th, 2024, surrounded by his family.

Ron was born March 5th, 1958, to Poz and Betty Rydberg in Omaha, Nebraska. Ron graduated from Bryan High School in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1975.

He was a third-generation iron worker for Local 21 for over 40 years. He worked on several large impactful projects all around the country and made many lifelong friendships along the way.

He married his wife Cherie in 1994. Together they enjoyed many years of retirement, spent with many friends and family. Ron enjoyed camping, fishing and cheering on his grandkids at numerous school and sporting events. His family meant the world to him.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents Poz and Betty Rydberg and his son Ronnie Rydberg.

He is survived by his wife Cherie, Children: Jesse Rydberg (Dani), Josie Brown (Kevin), Jeremy Kiscoan, Lindsay Eihusen (Erik), Megan Kiscoan, Grandchildren: Mason, Ronni, Hailey, Joey, Lydia, Kora, Ethan, Noah, Emma, Siblings: Rick Rydberg (Cerise), Robbin Dworak (Len), Renee Flott (Kim Fox), and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
