Ann M. Brown, 88

Preceded in death by parents James and Josephine LaGreca; sister Constance Durkan.

Survived by sons Michael (Terri), Gary (Mary), and Brian (Nancy); grandchildren Jon (Nicole) Brown, Joe (Laura) Brown, Katie Brown, Cole Brown, Hannah (Trent) Fuller; great-grandchildren Braxton and Brooke; brother Steve (Carolyn) LaGreca; brother-in-law Bernie Durkan; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ann was a retired supervisor from US Direct (formerly Northwestern Bell, Yellow Pages) after twenty-five years of service.

She volunteered at Good News Church, since 1980 and volunteered in several areas, including children's ministries, kitchen and hospitality ministries. She was also a leader of a women's bible study for thirty years.

Ann was a reader of books for the blind for 2 years, tutor for adults beginning readers for post incarcerated women for 2 years, women's crisis center for 2 years and housed indigent pregnant women and wayward teens for 4 years.

Celebration of Life will be Wednesday at Good News Church (74th & Hickory Street). Family meeting with guests from 9:30 to 10:15 am with a Memorial Service at 10:30 am. A luncheon will immediately follow at the Church.
