Keith R. Biodrowski, 63

Keith had a huge heart and was always willing to help anyone at a moment's notice. He was a talented jeweler, gardener, carpenter, and artist. He loved to make and build things, out of almost anything. Keith grew up in tough times, losing his father at a young age, he was the youngest of 7. He had many stories about getting by purely on his wits. A tough upbringing can make many sorts of men, Keith’s made him kind and understanding.

Keith attended Omaha South High, then he worked in the Stockyards in South Omaha and as a billboard installer. Later in life he went back to school, at ITT Tech, to become a draftsman / engineer. He helped to plan and design coolant systems, processing lines, and production areas for meat-packing plants across North America.

Keith filled his life with many hobbies, when his kids were younger, he would take them on camping trips to Minnesota and to the Indian Caves, sharing his love of nature with them. For decades, he would build elaborate fish tanks, growing coral in saltwater tanks, as well as a variety of freshwater fish. Keith was a gamer, before it was even cool. In the 90’s, he and his son John would play many of the same games. They would spend hours battling enemies in-game for hours. Keith was selfless with his time, making beautiful jewelry or crafting items for others as gifts.

While he was proud of his work, he was prouder of his family. He had three kids, Rachel, Michelle, and John, who also gave him five grandchildren, Allison, Michael, Jack, Alexzandria, and Rayven. He cherished all the paintings and hand-made art his kids and grandkids made for him. Hanging them all over his workshop and bedroom.

In retirement, he kept working to help his kids with errands, chores, and home improvement projects. He was always trying to improve their lives in any way that he could.

While Keith passed suddenly and too soon, as a man of great faith in Jesus Christ, he left behind a legacy and a family that will always be remembered.

Survived by brothers, Mark (Diane), Johnny, and Mike (Julie); sisters, Cathy (Randy), Debbie (Rich), and Chris; children, Rachel (Miko), Michelle (Jason), and John (Katie); grandchildren: Ally, Michael, Alex, Jack, and Rayven.

Preceded in death by his parents, John and Rosemary Biodrowski.
