Norma J. Hebard, 88


Norma Jean Hebard, 88, of Bellevue, passed away September 16, 2023 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease and is now at peace.

She was born to the late Raymond and Naomi Campbell, May 27, 1935, in Plattsmouth, Nebraska where she later graduated from Plattsmouth High School in 1953.

Norma married the late Tom Hebard in 1956. They lived in several different cities before settling in Bellevue, Nebraska.

She is survived by her three children, David Hebard of Bellevue, Debbie (Dan) Tyrell of Overland Park, and Doug (Laura) Hebard of Papillion. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; brother Dennis (Sharon) Campbell; and sister Pat (Steve) Tandy. She was predeceased by husband Tom; great-grandson Simon Eary; and sister, Janet Cundall.

She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who was always there when we needed her. Norma was incredibly loved and will be missed terribly by her family and the many friends she acquired in her church and around the community.

While our family grieves her loss, we are choosing to remember Norma in a way that honors her spirit. We ask that in lieu flowers, memorials would be sent to Fontenelle Forest or Lauritzen Gardens - two of her most cherished places.

There will be a private interment at a future date.
