Michael James Dropinski, 61

Mike passed away peacefully on July 18th 2023 after a 3 year battle with cancer.

Preceded in death by father, Tom; and brother Tommy.

Survived by long-time girlfriend Connie Whitney; mom, Dorothy; children Nicole (Justin), Megan (Ron), and James (Caitie); sister Cindy (Matt) Martinez; grandkids Gabe, Maddie, Aubrey and Susan;
niece and nephew Al (Emily) Martinez, Alex and Liza Prusa; (and new great nephew, Lane).


Mike had a huge heart and would help you in any way he could. He introduced himself to everyone he came in contact with, and he quickly and easily made friends with everyone. He was the “Neighborhood Dad” and it didn’t take long for him to invite you over for a meal. You could always count on him to crack a joke to make you laugh. He had his own way of making everyone feel special.

Mike loved all things Christmas, tinkering around the garden and garage, cooking, feeding the birds, fishing, and most of all his kids and grandkids.

Every doctor appointment he went to, you could smell him coming because he had a bag full of fresh baked banana bread to share with everyone.

He will always be thought of when we are casting a pole and setting up Christmas decorations.
