Passed away peacefully on Friday, September 9, 2011 at the age of 88, with family by her side. Ann enjoyed a successful career at Western Electric - Omaha Works and followed on with the "Pioneers" Club after retirement.

Ann resided in her South Omaha home for 63+years among her neighbors. She loved to work in her yard maintaining beautiful rose gardens, growing tomatoes and scolding them "darn" squirrels on a regular basis.

Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband Albert and son Darrell; parents Joseph and Emma Vasek and sister Bess Pitloun.

Ann is survived by son Larry residing in Peoria , AZ, daughter-in-law Lynelle (Darrell), granddaughters Heather (husband Chris) Hefling and Alyshia (husband Fred) Weiss, grandsons Anthony (wife Laurie) residing in Portland, OR, Charles (wife Nikki) and Christopher (wife Angela) residing in Buckeye, AZ; 11 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
