Carole A. Hansen, 81

Our dear mother Carole A. Hansen sadly passed away on April 12, 2023, at the age of 81. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She had many friends and was a well loved resident of the Meriwether Community in La Vista where she lived. Our family would like to express a very special thank you to the staff that cared for her. We are blessed by the kindness and love she received from Hospice of the Midwest.

Carole is preceded in death by husband of 44 years, Robert Hansen. She was a longtime employee of Union Pack of South Omaha, co-owner of RC&D trucking and office manager in the trucking industry.

Carole is survived by 5 children and 11 grandchildren: Bobby L. Hansen and wife Cheri - Oklahoma City, OK (Ty), Denise R. and husband Jay Kennedy - Spokane, WA (Emma, Lane & Will), Randy L. and wife Jennifer Hansen - Gretna, NE (Justin, Haylie & Sam), Dennis Hansen - Omaha, NE (Jake), Rodney L. and wife Angela Hansen - Papillion, NE (Matthew, Andrew & Natalie); brother Jack Alexander - Council Bluffs, IA; sister-in-law Marilyn DiBiase - Red Oak, IA.

Carole was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. She enjoyed the many activities that her grandchildren participated in and spending her summers at their cabin in Minnesota.
