Lucille  H.  Krupski
October 11, 1924 -  April 6, 2023

Lucille H. Krupski, 98

Lucille was born and raised in South Omaha in the Brown Park area. She lived in a 7-block radius her entire life until moving a year after her husband’s death in 1995.

She graduated from South High school in 1942. After completing comptometer school, she got a job with Union Pacific Railroad where she worked for the next 12 years. While working at Union Pacific she served as a Majorette in the Union Pacific Drum and Bugle corp.

At Assumption Church in 1954, she married Michael “Mike” Krupski Jr. and went on to have 5 children in a 12-year span.

Lucille was a devote Catholic and faithful member of Assumption Church for over 70 years.
She enjoyed working in her flower garden. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Some of her favorite things were visiting with her family and friends, dogs, watermelon, crossword puzzles and chocolate.

In her final years, Lucille and her children were always grateful to the people who gave her such loving, gentle care at Louisville Care Community.

She will truly be missed. Rest in eternal peace.

Preceded in death by husband Michael; sister, Dorothy Luksa (Bob); brother, Jack Vankat (Rose).

Survived by children Mick Krupski (Jody), Gail Richards (Dennis), Tom Krupski (Cheryl), Lora Bitzes (Jim), and Karen Elftmann (John); ten grandchildren, Michelle Krupski, Emily Smith (Brandon), Kevin Krupski, Lauren Krupski, Allison Queen (Aaron), Mickey Krupski (Amy), Stephanie Maddox (Luke), Nicholas Richards, Sarah Elftmann, and Jack Elftmann; and five great-grandchildren, Lydia Smith, Josephine Smith, Avery Queen, Anthony Queen, and MJ Krupski.
