Frank P. Volcek, Jr., 82
Frank P. Volcek, Jr. was born on December 12th, 1940 to Frank P. Sr. and Irma (Novotny) Volcek of Omaha, Nebraska.
He graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1958, and then served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps. On August 21st, 1967 he was married to Mary Kay Mayberger of Columbus, NE. In 1971, Bradley P. Volcek was welcomed into the family.
After Mary Kays passing in 1987, Frank was married to Cheryl (Cheri) Carson on January 27th, 1990. Along with his new wife, he welcomed her children Carey, Brian (Patrick), and Kelley into the family.
He retired from Skinner Macaroni after working there for 43 years. His free time was spent volunteering at the church, hunting, fishing, gardening, and enjoying Husker Football. However, his greatest pleasure was watching his 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren when called upon.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Mary Kay.
