Bernard T. "Bernie" Krawczyk, 80

In loving memory of Bernie.

Preceded in death by mother Josephine and father Frank, brothers Stan Kraw and Ray Kraw, John, Steve, Thomas, Walter, Frank, and Eddie Krawczyk, sisters Helen Peterson and Rose Marie Fibich.

Survived by loving wife of over 51 years, Carol (Spicl), Children Kim Hall (Corey) and Jennifer Roesler (Jeff); Grandchildren Noah and Marina Madrigal, sister-in-law Marge Krawczyk and brother-in-law Dennis Spicl, and many nieces and nephews.

Bernie was a man of few words, but he loved his family and the old movies and musicals on Channel 55. He served in the army for 2 years and then got married and had 2 daughters. He was a long-time employee of Control Data in Omaha, and of the Omaha Public Schools were he served as a custodian at Bryan High School. He always took pride in his work and was awarded Custodian of the Year during his tenure there. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Over the past year, he had many health challenges to overcome, but he was very strong in the fight. His family is grateful that his suffering is over and he will rest in eternal peace.
