Richard J. "Dick" Kutilek, 88

Preceded in death by wife Patricia.

Richard James Kutilek was born on February 2, 1935 in Omaha to Ann (Barta) and William J. Kutilek. He graduated from Omaha Central High School and the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Dick married the love of his life, Patricia (Tesar) on June 16, 1961. They had three children, Rick Kutilek (Ann Bush) of Omaha, Susie Moore (Pete Book) of Omaha, and Bill Kutilek (Crystal Larsen) of Lincoln.

Dick is survived by his sister, Nancy Mott (Bill Mott) of Shoreview, Minnesota; his three children; six grandchildren, Kate Leyendecker (Eric), Liz, Tom, Sarah (Moore), Ladd and Brooke; and several nieces and nephews.

Upon retiring from a 26-year career as a deputy to the Clerk of the District Court of Douglas County, Nebraska, Dick especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends at his river cabin at Sokol Camp.

Richard James Kutilek went to his heavenly home on Monday, February 13, 2023 while at his residence in Omaha.
