Lois E. Hassett, 98

Lois Eileen Hassett, of Bellevue, Nebraska passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023 surrounded by all of her children. Lois was born on September 21, 1924 to Harold and Lena Gamerl.

She graduated from South High School in 1942. Lois married Patrick J. Hassett on September 14, 1944. The next 20 years were spent traveling the world with the United States Navy. Upon retirement they returned to Omaha.

Lois and Patrick had four children. Lois was a very devoted mother and wife. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years Patrick "Bud" Hassett, her two sisters, one brother and one grandson.

Lois is survived by her four children: Penny Larson (Jerry) of Houston, Texas, Paula McIntosh of Quitman, Texas, James Hassett (Bonnie) of Tampa, Florida and Lois Estabrook (Jeff) of Omaha, NE;
seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren
