Preceded in death by wife Dorothy, son Charles, granddaughter Trina, brothers Frank, Emil and John, sisters Marie Blazek and Emily Irvin.

He was a member of National Timberwolf Association (Veterans of the 104 Infantry Division WWII), Disabled American Veterans Commander Club, Disabled American Veterans Chapter NE 2, Veteran's of Foreign War-Post 247, Grand Lodge AF and Am II over 60 years, Mason Covert Lodge II, Master Mason, Eastern Star Vesta Chapter.
