Dear Jim
I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Jean, your lifelong partner. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this incredibly difficult time. I will not be able to celebrate her life with all of you do to monitorial circumstances and I know it would make the situation more challenging for the family. I do not want to make this time more complicated than it already is.
Although I am unable to attend the funeral in person, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. As I have been told by John, Jean was a wonderful person who brought joy and warmth to everyone she met. I have seen and read all the wonderful cards and letters that were faithfully sent to him. He saved everyone and sent them home with me. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
I hope you find comfort in the love and support of family and friends, and in the cherished memories you have of her. If there is anything I can do to support you during this time, please do not hesitate to reach out.
