Sympathy, thoughts and prayers go out to family and friends who mourn the loss of dear, wonderful Joan. All of our memories death does not sever. Out of mind and out of heart? Never -- not ever. And some day in heaven we will all get together -- loving family, loving friends -- forever and ever. Thursday, September 28, 2023 |

Joanie and grew up together. We were exactly 6 months apart. We played together, rode bikes together, and attended birthday parties together. We were next door neighbors. We often played on the school’ playground or helped the nuns.we visited each other in college and in Denver. I will miss Joan but some day know we will be united in our heavenly home Tuesday, September 26, 2023 |

Living next door to Joanie on X street, she was always a part of my life. I have known her as far back as I can remember. She taught me to eat salt on my oranges. I used to go with her on Sunday nights when she played the music at St. Peter and Paul's.. Whenever I saw her, she would say "hi squirt" a name I resented as a child but found very enduring as an adult. Last time I saw Joanie was at my mother funeral in 2015. She was a wonderful person and touched so many lives. ( I love the picture it really captures her spirit.) I am so sorry I cannot make the service. Tuesday, September 26, 2023 |

Joan was a wonderful principal and friend. She touched many, many lives. She knew and cared for each of us, teachers, students and parents alike. Joan blessed my life and helped shape my career in Catholic education, and I'm forever grateful for her. - Jacqui Durrett Tuesday, September 19, 2023 |
