Mike’s life was an adventure as he was a lively person full of life and always doing things. Fate smiled upon me the day Mike became my brother-in-law. Mike, your journey has just begun. Don’t think of him as gone away for his journeys just begun. Life holds so many facets this life is only one. Just think of him as resting in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no sorrows, days, years and definitely no more tears. Think how he must be wishing that we could know today that nothing but our sadness can really pass away. Think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched for nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so very much. Mike you promised me in the past that you would take care of my sister. Thank you for all your love you brought to her and your two beautiful girls. Now your journey has just begun, the chain is broken now and nothing seems the same but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again. Until then you tossed the promise you made to me right back at me and yes I promise she will be taken care of. Rest in Peace my brother in law you are loved very much. Thank you very much for you gave our family but most of all thank you very much for all the love you gave my sister Roxanne. We will always love you Mike. RIP my brother in law until we meet again. So sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I had the privilege of meeting him back in the andrus days. He was a great guy that always had a great story and I genuinely enjoyed talking with him. Great guy and will be missed. Rest easy and prayers to you family. Gabe

This was beautifully written and certainly describes Mikes life. His love for my sister, his beautiful daughters along with all others that he embraced was exemplified throughout these years. We are mourning but hearing from his wife and daughters that he is no longer suffering allows the rest of us to know he is in Heaven with God.
