I am related to Dick thru my cousin Judy Strnad (kutilek). Dick and I were in the same fraternity at OU, "TKE" 1957-58. He was a swell person and taught me the ropes of college life. He attended my mothers funeral (Helen Strnad) where I gave the salvation message. My wife Virginia and have corresponded with him over the years. We really miss him.

We mourn Richard's departure from his temporary earthly home, but do rejoice because Richard also lived for what lies ahead, and he left a legacy of public and private works as an example. Dick was such a dear friend to our family. Jim met Dick through Rick when they were in college and quickly formed a bond. We will remember him for his love of family, the Packers and his amazing collection of leisure suits. Enjoy eternity with Pat!
