To Angel Flores' Family, there are few words that can truly make a time like this less painful, it is with heavy hearts that we mourn the death of your son, brother, cousin, uncle and our dear brother in the Faith, Angel Flores.

I met Angel this past summer on my trip to California with my sister. I may not have known him for a long time or even talked to him after my trip was over but his passing has had a tremendous impact on me. More than other people that I know that have passed. Looking forward to the days where things we experience in this troubled world will be no more. See you soon!

Angel had a big heart that matched his big smile. He was always ready for an adventure and a good laugh. Words cannot express the heartbreak experienced in finding out this news. May Jehovah remember all his good deeds and all his efforts to make Him happy and miss him as much as we do, and bring him back to life in a perfect state on paradise earth (Hebrews 6:10; Job 14:14,15; John 5:28,29; Isaiah 35:5,6).

I told Angel I would never watch Star Wars, but here I am, watching Star Wars because it was his favorite. I can’t wait to hear his laugh again and hear him talk about the things he loved; Jehovah, his Family, poetry, Star Wars, musicals, his dream of starting his own leather crafting business and comics. It’s been a true pleasure being able to call Angel my friend. May Jehovah continue to give his family and friends the strength needed to endure such heartache.

I had the privilege of meeting Angel via zoom at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. Myself and everyone who met him instantly connected. He was a great friend and encouragement to us all. Although we are many many miles away, our faith and service to our Heavenly father Jehovah made us close. I look forward to welcoming my friend back soon in a world no one will say "I am sick" (Isaiah 33:24). I'm so deeply sorry for your loss and will continue to pray that Jehovah comforts you in your time of grief and beyond.

I had only met Angel a few times, and only via Zoom, but I thoroughly enjoyed every time I was able to participate in the ministry with him. He was such a source of encouragement to our group, making the time for Jehovah, despite his busy schedule. My heart goes out to his family and all those whose hearts are full of sorrow at this time. The words expressed in the Scriptures at John 11:25, give me hope and I look forward to the day when I’m able to meet my brother in person and enjoy perfect, everlasting life as Jehovah intended.
