Robert E. Rowlee, 88

Survived by children, Robert Rowlee, Jr. (Maggie), Vicki Brewer, Kristi Johnson (Jeff) and Brenda Heybrock (Hal) of Arlington, NE.

Robert Eugene Rowlee (Bob), age 88 passed away at his home on March 26, 2024 after a short journey with cancer. He was the widower of Shirley Ann Rowlee of Omaha NE. They shared thirty four years of marriage before her death in 2010.

Bob was born in Los Angeles California to Helen and Lowell Hermann (husband) of Kearney NE. He attended Kearney High School. Following graduation, Bob entered the United States Air Force and served our country for 22 years with several deployments to Vietnam and Europe. While stationed in Germany, Bob developed a love of repairing and collecting antique clocks. After retiring from the military, he and his wife opened up and antique clock repair shop and eventually moved the business to his home.

Bob loved collecting clocks of all kinds and could repair any clock, grandfather clock and cuckoo clock with ease. Grandpa Rowlee was also known for his love of “cheeseburgers” and spending time with family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
