Preceded in death by sons Donald and David; parents William and Bernice.

Survived by wife Mary; sons Tom Jr. (Melanie) and Tim (Nancy); daughters Mary Lynn (Paul) Parr and Cheryl (Kris) Galas; daughters-in-law Rose Schrack and Kim Schrack; 17 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; brothers William and Gary (Pam); sister Sally (Virgil) Polak.

Tom was the owner of Hockenbergs Equipment and Supply Company. A member of the Omaha Restaurant Hall of Fame, and the Food Service, Equipment and Supplies National Hall of Fame.
