Dear Marilyn and Family:
I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Now many years ago, he and I spent many, many happy hours together, figuring out life and our own paths. Bob you left us way to soon. You touched so many people over. The many years of teaching in school and out. I was an always will be impressed on how smart you were. It’s coming up on 40 years. Because I started my teaching career in the middle of the school year, Bob immediately recognized how difficult it was for me. He combined my classes with his to assist with the curriculum. His command of a classroom, ability to communicate with kids, and incredible knowledge gave me a model of teaching I have tried to emulate for the last 47 years. He was a dear friend and one of the most brilliant people I've known. I owe my success in the teaching profession to him. My deepest sympathies to the family! I'll miss you my mentor and friend! Dave
