Dear Marilyn and Family:
I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Now many years ago, he and I spent many, many happy hours together, figuring out life and our own paths. He was a great friend, whose memory will always bring a smile to me. I do want to tell you how often over the years he talked of how proud he was of his sons. He was a good friend and a good man. Thinking of you all, Craig

Because I started my teaching career in the middle of the school year, Bob immediately recognized how difficult it was for me. He combined my classes with his to assist with the curriculum. His command of a classroom, ability to communicate with kids, and incredible knowledge gave me a model of teaching I have tried to emulate for the last 47 years. He was a dear friend and one of the most brilliant people I've known. I owe my success in the teaching profession to him. My deepest sympathies to the family! I'll miss you my mentor and friend! Dave
