Dear family members of Bob Gillen. I was very sorry to read about the passing of Bob. He attended Ryan High in the early 60's and became friends with everybody. He was really smart and fun to be around. Bob didn't wait for things to happen, he made things happen. I haven't seen Bob since those days, but, never forgot him, he was special. My sincerest condolences to Marilyn and sons. I was fortunate to have Bob in my life twice. I was a student in his Social Studies class at MJH so many years ago. What a truly exciting experience as he was a terrific teacher with such enthusiasm! And again when I returned to Mission as an employee. He always had a bright smile! My condolences to the Gillen family. I spent many years working with Bob at Mission. Also spent a great deal of time with him in the gym, on the football field and other venues as well. Haven't seen him much lately much to my regret. Truly an amazing man and a wonderful advocate for kids.
