Dear Schnase Family,
I was very sorry to hear about Miss Jean's passing. My dad, Gordon Thomas, directed "Miss Jean's Storytime" at KMTV for many years, and he really enjoyed working with her. As kids, my sisters and I were often at the station when it was being taped. Miss Jean was always wonderfully gracious and kind to us. My sisters often brought in art work to illustrate the stories and were delighted to see them on the show. She has left many good memories!

I was honored to be the voice of the monkey for a few months until we moved out of state in 1969. . I worked with Fred as he was Zak. We belonged to Pilgrim Lutheran then and I have used puppets many times for Sunday School at Lutheran Church of the Master..
I admired Jean so much. She was a great role model for me as I was a young mom. She was truly a voice for God to reach children
I am recovering from the flu so can't attend,the service, but I am with you in spirit praising her life. She will be missed .It is so wonderful to know that Jesus welcomed her home!.

Our children grew up watching Miss Jean each Sunday morning. What a wonderful thing she did each week as she invited the children to partner with her, by sending in their pictures, to help tell the story. We sent many pictures in for her story board over the years. What a blessing she was!
