Dear Paula, Mrs. Macaitis, Mike and all of your family. My deepest condolences to you. I no longer live in Omaha but occasionally check in with Omaha news. I was so saddened to hear of your Dad's passing Paula. I remember him and your family so fondly from our school days. I am now a Buick/ GM collector and honestly was thinking not long ago about the big Buick's he would sometimes drive from his business and Mike's red Charger! I am totally serious, it's strange. You guys always had such great cars & Mr. M was such a cool guy! Paula, I regret that it has been about 25 years since we last spoke but life has a way of getting away from us as you know. I know we ran into one another after graduation at one point and we briefly chatted with your folks at your house. He was looking at my Buick in your driveway- funny.....

So many of the kids and families from St. Bernadette have fondly remained in my thoughts all these years. I want you to know that I will be praying for all of you and certainly for your Dad as he in embraced by our Dear Lord.

I live here with and am very close with many of the Franciscan Sisters that taught us. Dear Sr. Judith is a close member of our extended family now. My family spends a great deal of time with many of them in their retirement. I will be sharing this with the Sisters and they will be praying for all of you- Especially him.
