I was one of the first members of the Goldenrod Boys Athletic Club. I remember meetings in the family room of their house. Shopping in their store and the contests they had for the area children. I also remember one of their Halloween parties. Films shown outdoors on a sheet on the side of their store. I remember the building of their House. Most of all I remember their, Gene's, kindness and the helping attitude she always possessed. Gene and her family had a positive impact on me personally, our family, St Stanislaus Church and South Omaha as a whole. She will live on in our memories and our hearts. We all thank God for her presence on this earth. Monday, April 17, 2017 |

Joe and family---our deepest sympathies in the loss of your mother. I recall from our days of working together they were involved in a store. Please know that Lynn and I hope the many great memories you have will help sustain you during your grief. Monday, April 17, 2017 |

Jean & Joe were the staples of our South Omaha neighborhood. They ran a great neighborhood store & kept the kids in the neighborhood involved with an Athletic Club they ran out of there home. They are truly missed and the Koziol family would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the family. Friday, April 14, 2017 |
