Dear Aunt Dolores, Linda, Cheryl and John,
It has been ages since I have seen you, yet so many memories have come to mind this past week after Mike sent me the news of Uncle Laddie. I can honestly only remember Uncle Laddie with a smile on his face. I often tell my own children of the many crazy experiences we had at your farm and I laugh every time! Just this week I shared the story of picking mulberries, standing on a log, not realizing the ants nest that soon decided to crawl up my legs under my jeans. I truly had ants in my pants! I want to thank you for being a part of all of my childhood memories from ants, to chickens and even that crazy Afghan dog you had! Memories do not fade, even after the passage of time. Uncle Laddie it is time for you to share a beer with Uncle Tom. A bottomless glass of beer.
