I grew up on 5th & Bancroft, just up the hill from Betty and her family. We were great friends back then and I have very fond memories of our long walks and talks during our junior high years at Bancroft Jr High. We lost touch after high school so I was thrilled when we reconnected on Facebook a short time ago. Although we hadn't spoken in almost 40 years, Betty was and always will be my friend! Rest in peace, dear friend! Condolences to her family!! If there's anything I can do for you please don't hesitate to let me know!!!!
